If a train has stopped at the Highway 881 and Highway 14 crossing for more than 5 minutes with no movement, please call 1-800-465-9239 or 1-888-888-5909. You will need to tell them that it is the "Wainwright Line" and "CN Mile 157.99". As per CN regulations, a train may not be stopped at a crossing for more than 5 minutes. Calling these numbers will establish a file to help stop this from happening.
  
Where is Irma

The Village of Irma is located within the Municipal District of Wainwright, 178 kilometers southeast of Edmonton and 29 kilometers northwest of Wainwright, in the heart of the beautiful rolling parkland of Battle River Country. Irma is situated on Highway 14 at the crossroads of Secondary Highway 881.

Irma is a friendly, safe village of over 455 people located 15 minutes west of Wainwright and 90 minutes east of Edmonton on highway 14. Irma is supported by a strong economy with agriculture, oilfield activity and the Wainwright Military Base near by.
